A meeting of the Berlin Board of Education was held in the Berlin High School library at 6:00 p.m. Present for the meeting were Nicole Plourde, Denise Valerino, Lynn Moore, Louise Valliere, Donald Labrecque, Corinne Cascadden, Bryan Lamirande, Amy Huter, Tim Forestall, Dan Record, Martha Miller, Kevin Carpenter, Roland Pinette and a member of the press.
MINUTES On a motion by Lynn Moore, seconded by Louise Valliere, the Board voted to approve the minutes of the September 3, 2015 meeting public and nonpublic sessions. The motion passed unanimously.
WARRANTS On a motion by Louise Valliere, seconded by Lynn Moore, the Board voted to approve the warrants dated, September 14 and September 21, 2015 for the amounts of $5,286.39 and $126,005.44. On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.
FINACIAL REPORT The Board reviewed and approved the financial report.
On a motion by Lynn Moore, seconded by Louise Valliere the Board voted to use the Holiday premium refund money from Primex in conjunction with the Homeland Security Grant to fund card key locks. On a roll call vote, all members voted in the affirmative.
COMMENTS None
NHSBA The Board came to a consensus to take no action and to hold off on their proposed legislation at this time.
SUPER’S REPORT The Superintendent informed the Board of the following issues:
- Answers to specific questions regarding RSA193:12 –Legal Residence
- Monitor the decline in enrollment for potential re-organization
- Milan voting member on Berlin School Board
- Capital Improvement Plan
- Homecoming Schedule
- Determination of IDEA Implementation

MEMBER BUSINESS Lynn Moore congratulated Craig Melanson for receiving the Athletic Director of the year award.
NON PUBLIC On a Board consensus a nonpublic session was not needed.
